The New Canvas

I have a new canvas for my doodles- one that appreciates even the simplest of designs. Ah the pleasures of having a daughter!
It was all her idea.

The stuff she likes, hearts and stars!

The stuff I like!

I asked for a smile.

But she finds it hard to keep a straight face!

    1. The first person who told me to buy mehndi for her was my brother. He has 2 girls and remembered what they loved doing.

  3. Dear Ms Puja (see, I spelled that right),

You don't know me and you probably never will but yeah, I just wanted to let you know how amazing your blog is and how lovely your words are. From posts about your adorable witch-aunty-loving daughter, to your perspective on so many things, to just being so open and honest about issues that are close to your heart on a blog open to the public. Just thank you, thank you for writing.

Also, I especially loved the post on Aloka, I read that thrice, and the recent one about your walk to work. The parallel contrasting between the koi pond and the water fountain was really good and honestly, I wish people wouldn't smoke and do harm to themselves as well the people around them.

Oh, and thanks also, for discussing how you feel about being single. I enjoyed it greatly. I'm one that needs company all the time (I'm a teenager by the way) and to see that it is possible to feel whole and at peace without needing someone, is eye-opening in a way.

P.S. I wanted to send you a message instead of commenting but I couldn't figure out how because comments feel superficial somehow and hope you don't mind the god-awfully long 'comment'!

    1. I love your god-awfully long comment. It made me so happy and right before I am to leave for a trip to Morocco. Thank YOU for reading what I write and writing this comment, young friend.
